„Synaptic vesicle exocytosis in C. elegans “
Joy in my life at the age of four came from playing in the sandbox. It was, like sandboxes always are, also the highlight for cats from miles around. The cats imaginations were surely drawn to what was for them a litter box the size of an Olympic swimming pool. Like the cats, my mind was set free in the sandbox moving the piles of sand into structures, sculptures, worlds for my imagination to live within, and on occasion a place for me to excavate the odd fossilized feline feces. Perhaps some of this free whirling of the brain led me to science and art, my two loves in life. Both science and art provide the same opportunity for my mind to wander towards the edges of creativity. They provide the 'Olympic swimming pool sized litter boxes' in which my mind can explore and play.
